Course Overview

A new law came into place in October 2018 with regard to the Duty of Care to Dogs

If you provide any of the following:

  •  Boarding kennels for dogs
  •  Daycare for dogs
  •  Breed dogs
  •  Provide home boarding for dogs

You now must ensure you have the correct level of canine first-aid training

Our training offers credibility and also meets the legal requirements set for these professions.

However, this course can also be for anyone who owns or is about to own a dog.

The subjects covered are the injuries that could happen to your dog and whilst there are some similarities to human first aid, this course is specifically for the canine species.

It’s about knowing what to do in the right way.

It’s about looking at things that you may not ordinarily consider. You will no doubt know when they need feeding- need the toilet- or want a walk. However being able to check the pulse and understand what it should be like, is so important in canine first aid care.

This course covers invaluable topics about first aid care.

Understanding what to do is so important.
