    Undertaking the Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course is beneficial for individuals who want to learn the basics of first aid and become qualified to provide immediate assistance in the workplace where is has been assessed as a low risk environment. This course is specifically designed to equip participants with essential life-saving skills and knowledge to handle common medical emergencies. This course meets your HSE Workplace Safety Compliance.

    • diopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques for adults (demonstration on child and infant only).
    •  participants how to control bleeding and dress wounds properly, reducing the risk of infection and further complications.
    • Recognition of Medical Conditions: Participants will be trained to recognise the signs and symptoms of common medical emergencies such as seizures and shock
    • AED Training: The use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) is included in the course. Participants will learn how to operate an AED safely, which is vital in cases of sudden cardiac arrest

     

    Transferable Life Skills: The skills learned in the EFAW course are not only valuable in the workplace but can also be applied in various settings, such as at home, during travel or in public spaces
