We promise that we will take steps to use your personal information only in ways that are compatible with this Privacy Policy.

When you contact us by phone, mail or online, we sometimes receive personal information from you. This page tells you about how we collect, use and store your personal information.

How we collect information about you

We collect information about you when you interact with us. For example, when you register for our services, contact us via our contact form, ask about our courses, book on a course, or contact us through email and or social media.

What information we collect

Personal Information:

We only require you to provide us with the personal information necessary for us to complete a specific task, for example, when making an online booking we require you to provide us with sufficient personal information so that we may process your booking and this is: Your first name and last name, your address for the invoice, your address is also needed for the certificate to be sent to you, a contact telephone number should we need to update you on the course you are booked onto and email address that we can send the invoice and confirmation letter to. You can provide us with additional information but that is your free choice.

When attending a course, the register and multi-choice question papers will require your full name, date of birth and place of work and a box we have to tick to say we have seen some form of photo ID from you.

Payment Details:

Paying over the phone means we take your card details to process the payment via a virtual secure terminal (EVO) that is password protected.

How we use your information

We use the information we have collected from you to enable us to process the booking or query and to keep you informed about changes to legislation and when your certificate is due to expire or be updated. There are certain situations we have to pass some of your details onto a third party as follows:

Qualsafe Awards: Your name for the certificate to be processed

Highfield: Your name and date of birth for the certificate to be processed

This information we hold for 3 years as we have a legitimate interest in your certification level. After 3 years we will ask you if you are happy for us to keep you updated on any future courses and updates regarding First Aid and Health & Safety.

As the courses finish we ask for verbal photographic and or written feedback that is used on social media: Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Google+ and You Tube. We ask for permission before any are taken and explain where these testimonials and photos would be used.

How we protect your personal information

All computers are password protected and have malware and spyware software on them. We use a recognised cloud server (please ask us for more information if required) which again is password protected and only employees with a need to see your information for the booking and processing have access to this information.

Hard copies of registers and assessments are stored within a locked office, within locked filing cabinets. After 3 years, this information is then put into the confidential waste bin and shredded using an approved supplier.

Social Media: Photo’s of sessions being run may be taken on occasions. Photo’s do not contain faces unless prior consent is given and no individual learner names are given unless agreed with the learner.

We would like to continue to send you information about our products and services that are relevant to you, this would be through Email marketing: Monthly emails are sent to customers regarding changes and or updates as well as future course dates and times and reminders of you certificate expiry that are part of the standard service we provide for you.

You can now opt out of these at any time by letting us know
