We are taking a proactive stance to the Coronavirus.
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO THE FOLLOWING:
DO NOT

SYMPTOMS
If you have any of the following symptoms you must self isolate:
The current recommendation is that you DO NOT visit your GP, Pharmacy or hospital but stay at home and self isolate. Only if the symptoms become worse should you call 111. If you do have any of the symptoms then you must not come back into the workplace for a period of 7 days. If someone in your household has been advised to self isolate by NHS 111 or they do have the symptoms then you must stay at home for a period of 14 days.
Should you show the signs of the symptoms you will receive Statutory Sick Pay as per your Contract of Employment. The three Statutory Sick Pay waiting days have been wavered, you will therefore be paid from day one of your absence. If it is someone in your household that has the symptoms and you do not, you are entitled to claim Statutory Sick Pay. Should you require time off to look after your family because of school closures etc this can be taken as a mixture of holiday and unpaid leave. This will be agreed with your manager.
Changes with the virus are occurring daily, it is our intention to keep you updated regularly. Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact your manager.
